2007 International Symposium on Financial Engineering and Risk Management (FERM2007)

Guanghua School of Management at Peking University is organizing the 3rd International Symposium on Financial Engineering and Risk Management, to be held in 11 -- 12 June 2007 at Peking University. This symposium series is aspired by the Centre for Statistical Research at Chinese Academy of Sciences to provide a forum for experts from academia and business to exchange information and ideas on Financial Engineering and Risk Management.
The Keynote Speakers of the 2007 Symposium include Robert Engle (Nobel Prize Winner in Economics 2003), Yacine Ait-Sahalia (Director of Bendheim Center for Finance), Alex Lipton (Managing Director of Global Markets Derivatives Analytics, Global Head of CRESP Analytics of Merrill Lynch), Jose Scheinkman (Theodore A Wells Professor of Economics, Princeton University) and Neil Shephard (Director of the Oxford Finance Research Centre).
There will be two earmarked sessions on the developments and practice in modern financial industry:
Wall Street Special Invited Session, and
Chicago Financial Exchanges-UIC Special Invited Session
The Symposium invites presentations related to Financial Engineering and Risk Management. Papers should be submitted by 30 April 2007 through the conference website at
